- Envelope Aware Flight Management System (EA-FMS) is a novel flight management system that supports Loss of Control (LOC) prediction, prevention, and recovery through an integrated suite of adaptive algorithms to augment conventional Autopilot and Flight Director Systems (AFDS).
- This thesis develops a framework for a user-specific UAS guidance, navigation, and control model and an urban environment model to test combinations of navigation sensors including an LTE transceiver and computer vision sensor to complement the traditional GPS receiver, inertial sensors, and an air data system.
- The objective of this project is to develop an aircraft control system that enables the aircraft to fly at any airspeed ( zero airspeed at hover to the max airspeed at cruise).
- The goal of this project is to augment UXV automation to substantially improve survivability and productivity over long-duration, autonomous missions. The goal of this project is to augment UXV automation to substantially improve survivability and productivity over long-duration, autonomous missions.
- Holistic design, modeling, and optimization of such Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) requires new techniques capable of integrated analysis across the full CPS. This dissertations introduces two methods for balancing cyber and physical resources in a step toward holistic co-design of CPS.
